Still not working

I have two problems.
The first is that I cannot find my site by typing in its name www.legato.org.uk.
I've tried www.legato.org.uk/. I've tried http://legato.org.uk. And I have tried http://legato.org.uk/
I received an email from SUPPORT with the link http://legato.org.uk/ & this gets me to my home page. I pasted this onto a 'sticky note' & if I press Ctrl on my keypad & click this it also gets me through to my home page. I don't understand why I can't type in www.legato.org.uk directly to get my home page.

My second problem is that I can't access my other pages from the home page menu bar.
I've tried several different things & nothing has worked so far. When setting up my pages in the menubar this is an example of what I have done.
In the edit page box I have entered my URL's http://legato.org.uk/contact_us.html
In the target field I have put _blank (or _self if the link is on the actual page).
When I click on a page in the menu bar Google comes back with 'oops the link appears to be broken'

At this stage I am considering checking myself into an institution for the bewildered. Help!!!!
If there is reincarnation I hope there's no computers in my next life.

Your website is fine... I suggest you check your computer for errors.

Your home page is fine. Can only assume you haven't published your other pages yet?
Would also recommend using text on your pages as the SE's cant read the text on your images & wont get you very far up the SE rankings. .

thanks for replying. When you accessed my site did you click on the links, or did you type them??
I'm getting through if I click on them but not if I type them in.

Also, were you able to access the other pages via the menu bar?

The computer is new & I have no probs with googling anything else???

Also, in my thread I can access the homepage by clicking on the links, but not if I type directly into Google??
Did you click the links??
I'm not too worried yet about the SE's as at the moment I only need it for local networking. I'll have to learn a bit about optimisation though. It will be important later.
