I have been using Dreamweaver for development and use the FTP built into the Dreamweaver software to post to Vodahost. It is kind of easy to setup from within the manage sites menu. Just use the same FTP information that the voda software uses. These are the FTP server ip address, the host directory public_html if this is your primary domain, your login name and your password. Use passive FTP.
Dreamweaver does a great job of uploading all of the associated files and maintains synchronization information. I am currently using version Dreamweaver CS4.
