Hi guys, please could someone take a look at my site and tell me if there is a way to stop the pictures jolting on the front page at the bottom when you scroll up and down.
I've checked in FF (Firefox), An alternative browser to say IE (Internet Explorer) and all looks OK.
You may wish to size your images using an external image editor before you drop them on BV to promote faster loading. On the page they look small because you've used BV's sizing handles but all is not what it seems.
Here are the actual sizes of 2 images I picked at random
It's more than that ... especially since the picture files have not been reduced in addition to your page size is 1162 pixels wide and making it difficult for most broswers to resolve the page easily during the scroll.
You would be best advised to adjust the size of your pages to no wider than 960 maximum standardized width (the evenly divisible grid format across all systems and resolutions) to make it easier for the various browsers to render the page evenly and without fault.
Many thanks for the very usefull help! I will get looking in to that now.
Just another quick question, do you know how to move to a certian point on the page after clicking a link. Eg click on link on tables, and then it opens a new page with a list of other objects and it takes you to the table part further down the page?
