need some help with menu bars

hi,I'm new. I need some help with menu bars. I've watched the tutorial videos and it still doesn't seem to work when I do the page preview. the menu is vertical.

this would be the home page: (which I would like to say"home" instead of "stdominics" )
    name:stdominics
    alt text:stdominics
    link: http
    url: http://www.stdomin********.com
    target: _self

    name:History
    alt text:History
    link: http
    url: http://www.stdomini********.com/history.html
    target: _self

those are just two examples. I have other items on the menu. am I missing something? when I do the page preview and try to click on,lets say "history", it just says "cannot be displayed".

    also,one other question
when I do the page preview part of the page is white. I figure it has to do with the margins but I'm not sure how to fix it.I'm still searching to see if their's a tutorial video for the margins.

thanks in advance.sorry for the questions but I'm new. the site is not published by the way.

    1. Hyperlinks do not function on un-published pages (there is nothing to link to or from, as neither page is real or on the Net, correct?).
    2. In the Target field, delete your SELF entry --- leave it blank.

Preview will display the "action" of the links (change of color or manner of display upon mouseover/hover), but function is reserved for 'actualized' links via reality (being published with hard-reference to a static object on the web).

Be sure to Name, Save, Link, and Publish your pages using all lower case letters .... be sure in BV your "History" page was in fact Saved and Published as you have shown in the link above > http://www.stdominicsschool.com/history.html

No, an iFrame has nothing to do with properly positioning your text within a textbox .... maintain the textbox within the width of your page, and merely "re-size" your page downward: you can 'stretch' your shapes (if that is how you define your page) or merely allow the text to reform down upon your page. The browser scrollbars will allow Visitors to use them to view the page in its entirety.

No iFrames needed, nor is there a need to "over-think" your page design.
