Had to change PCs, copied .bvp files but not working properly

Hi - I hope someone can explain something for me.

My laptop had to go for repair, so I copied the directory containing all my website .bvp files and images over to another laptop - I then installed blue voda on to it. I have updated a complete website and published it successfully.

When my laptop was returned I tried to copy the files back over to a sub directory but whilst all the untouched files are okay, the ones I updated give an error message and I am unable to open them (unexpected file format).

Any ideas how I fix this?

Maybe you have an older version of BV in your repaired laptop ?
Try installing the same version you installed on the new one.

Aha - I didn't think of that!
Downloaded a newer version and it all works fine. Thank you so much, that was really bugging me (having to use two different laptops!!)
