My Own Template

I have made my own template in Photoshop. I am happy with the colors. I have looked through the templates and backgrounds and not found a background that I like.

I know it takes longer for the site to load. Do you have any suggestions for saving a background as: (size) that would make everyone happy.

If I could save a background I could add my banner as an image and it would be a lot smaller and quicker to open.

When you saved your photoshop image did you "Save for Web" ?
The image size is quite large electronically. (336KB)
I was able to save it @ 33KB with little resolution loss.

Terry I will definatly do that maybe I can get the time down to 1 sec. I know every second counts.

I have PS3 I did a save as and did not see "save for web" best I figure is .bmp or .gif or .tif?
Is there a different image program I could open it in that has "save for web"?

I have Windows 7 and I'm seeing the start of a repeating pattern on the right side. I don't think this is intentional so you might want to check it out. Also, the yellow background under the butterfly (beautiful!) extends only about 3/4 of the way across.

Paul thanks. I did not see the background under the butterfly I will have to look again. My daughter told me about the repeating image. That's why I am going to try the smaller picture. wish me luck.
