    Index Page won't start automatically

When I type my URL the index page does not start. It goes to a white screen with my files listed. How do I fix this?

    Thanks.

Be in the habit of posting your url when you ask a question so we can be better prepared to offer an answer. The usual cause for your problem is that the index page is incorrectly named. It needs to be published as index only. That's all lowercase, too.

        Hi Sandman

Your page was named "Index", with a capital "I" just as the person in this thread above you. You can see the file in the index which copied in your post.

Try by renaming it "index", with a lowercase "i", and republishing.
