    Putting site on hold

    Hi all

Due to me having to find a new manufacturer for my motorbike vests I know I will run out of stock before I get anything sorted.

I need to temporarily suspend orders and payments (paypal) from my site.

What do you think would be the best way of doing this?

    Re: Putting site on hold

It would be a shame to loose any SE ranking by taking the site down.
I can only suggest covering over all your paypal buttons with a BV shape with a notice on it that your are in the middle of change with manufactures & will be back soon, preferably with a contact link.
It might also be worth a look at pay pal to see if it can be done at that end, so if anyone clicks on a PP button, they will get a similar message instead of the cart.
    Regards Chris.
