Registered woth you last night and trying to access cpanel,but for some reason it won't accept my details, Am I just being a muppett?

Did you receive your welcome mail?

Your password and username are there. If you are using your forum username and password it won't accept them.
If you have received them, just type in IE: www.yourdomainname.com/cpanel and enter username and password
