Ok what if my friend creates a site like for downloads he only put the other websites where to get the download he doesn't upload anything form his computer nothing is that illegal ? cause you are not doing anything you are just posting other sites contents so is it ?

No, it's not illegal to just provide links. That type of thing is protected by the First Amendment.Comment
