Minor changes to an existing web site (non voda origins)

I have a person putting together a web site for me... I wanted to be able to make simple changes to the site e.g. text additions/changes possible jpg changes etc nothing too complex.

I have taken a look but cannot readily see a tutorial or way of uploading the exisiting web site into bluevoda am i missing something....
