Gradiet Background & Solid Table?

I am new to Bluevoda Website Builder and I need some help.
Is is possible to have a solid white table against a page that has a gradient background? I ask cause when I attempt to create a white table it comes up as the same color as the page background.

Right Click the table. Select Properties (not CEll properties) and set the table background color to white.

OK thank you. I was doing that before, but when I only saw one white strip at the top, I assumed something was wrong. No I realize that the white expands as I am typing.
