    marquee speed and delay

hi guys. i've figured out a way to make a 'pseudoflash' intro using marquees. basically i'm inserting a whole bunch of marquee's to come together into a phrase. the problem is that i don't want them all to start at the same time.

i would think changing the marquee delay would handle this but it doesn't. any thoughts?

i've found that delay and speed seem to both control speed. the only way i've found that i can make words appear at specified times is to increase the length of how far they travel. this requires making your page huge (the viewer can't tell the difference though). it's not ideal, but it works.
