Advice on redirect

Hello

I am in the process of a redirect from inspirationalsolutions-nlp.co.uk to DonnaBlinston.com the home page for my wordpress blog and main site are done but every link reverts back to inspirationalsolutions-nlp.co.uk/.........
I firstly want to change this and make my blog the first thing people see when they click into donnablinston.com I will then place a link on the blog to my old site.

I have looked at the "How do I redirect a URL" advice page and video but unsure of what will happen when I do it and where my old site will go.

Please advice me of how I do this.

You have watched the tutorial, you know what to do..do not be afraid to give it a try, if it does not work you can always delete the redirect.
