How do I set up a temporary url?

I have to move my client's site to Vodahost. The site is already live on godaddy with a registered domain. How do I create a temporary url on vodahost so I can test the files to make sure they are working properly before I upload the site live and close it down on godaddy. Does this make any sense?

Refer to the Welcome email sent to you upon purchase of your VodaHost Hosting Account ... it has the particular server ID access you can use to bypass Domain redirection to establish a "temporary" site that can be later deleted before publishing properly to and making official DNS changes to the Domain.
