Publish - Unpublish

I have what may be a simple question/problem but so I don't get in trouble with protocol I would like to inform you that I have 2 unpublished domains so there is nothing to look at on the web as yet.
My question is: Once I publish my website, can it be withdrawn or does it always stay on the web? I have previewed it but if I don't like it after I publish it can I, for lack of better words, blank it out to the public until I make it right.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi, you can remove the page from the server after you publish it either with BlueFTP:

Or you can use the file manager within your control panel:
