How to proceed before redirecting DNS

Just subscribed to Vodahost. Is it possible to copy my Wordpress folder and associated DB from Godaddy to Vodahost and then make sure it runs on Vodahost before switching the name servers from Godaddy to Vodahost?

I've copied the folder and the DB from Godaddy to Vodahost but can't figure out how to get WP to connect to the DB.

Hi,
You need to open the wp-config.php file then update the database, database username and password in order to connect the script with the database. If you need assistance, please open up a ticket, we can do this for you!
