    How do i make a Sub-Directory?

Hi *****, thanks for the help so far, but i am new to this. I tried what you advised, but no joy.

I have a page, members.html in my public_html file. I want to password protect it for members only. Please could explain in detail how i make a sub-directory to do this?

Sorry to be a pain, once i've got this done i shall be OK, job done!

Hear from you soon. Many thanks.

The easy way is to make a sub folder in you public folder( you can do this in cplanel)

then pass work protect that folder, again in cpanel

up load memebers.html to the new loade, Note when you publish save to public/foldername

To make a sub folder(directory) goto the control panel, then file manager, ope your public folder, at the top you will find "create new folder"

Then back to main menu in control panel theres and "Password protect Directory"

    follow the screen messages

    Hope that helps
