Re: index page is it ok help please!!!!!!!
jbolvus,
Well, your page would be saved as index and when it reached the server it will be index.html
So if you go to your site ( http://yoursite.com ) the page you have designated as index should appear
Hope that clarifies

Re: index page is it ok help please!!!!!!!
name the BlueVoda File index the page you designed name it index when you save it in blue voda and that page will come up at your .com site as after that you may name your BV File anything you would like but remember that the next page will end with .html

Your first page- the page you want people to see when they typ in
This website is for sale! mywebsite.com is your first and best source for all of the information you’re looking for. From general topics to more of what you would expect to find here, mywebsite.com has it all. We hope you find what you are searching for!
must be named/saved as - index
When you save it and publish it to the server- it becomes index.html
This is automatically done by the BV web building program.
If you placed an index page on your server and wish to re-place it- simply go to your server via FTP Manager. Once connected and open- right click on the old index page and delete it. Create the new index page and publish it to the server.
If you have a page that is named home or mainpage and you wish this to be your index- simply open it in BV and save as - index and then publish it to the server. Delete any old pages that you do not intend to use any more.
