    Help with publishing.

Alright, this is a loaded question so prepare yourself

    1. I've designed my site all up in bluevoda 7.7 and have it all ready to go.
    2. I've got a domain name from vodahost (orangehuntsqaurehomeowners.com)
    3. I've got all my info, passwords and can log into cpannel.

What I need/want to do is:
I want to get what I have all set up in bluevoda onto my homepage of orangehuntsquarehomeowners.com. Obvously you hit publish to web, get the right ip address and password, but past that how do you get that page onto the internet.

Any help would be awsome, Thanks!

    Re: Help with publishing.

    HTTPn00b,

Open the page you wish to publish in the BV web builder. Click on publish and up load it to the server. It will prompt you for IP address, User name and password - all was provided to you in the welcome mail. By default- it will publish to the public_html folder/directory.

Your first page -the page you want people to see when the type in
http://yourwebsite.com should be named - index

By default- the server , serves up if you will, the index page when
    http://yourwebsite.com is typed in.

Andy sebsequent pages would be published in a similar manner but can be named what ever you like. Short names is prefered. Like- contact, aboutus, page1, page2 etc....... If you use two words make sure to connect them by and under score. Example: contact_us

Then you simply set up your links accordingly to each page.

The video tutorials cover all this and are a great resource. They can be linked to from the bottom left in your BV web builder.

this is what you should see

        folder - public_html

do not add index - just hit publish........
        Have fun

Weird thing is I never got the email saying I was registered. I got one that said my payment went through and that was it. Then about 2 days later I sent an email to customer support saying I couldnt get into cpannel because I didnt have the correct log in info. They sent me log in info less then... 10hrs ago. And I got onto cpannel and everything seems to be right.

              It says: Welcome orangehuntsquarehomeowners.com!

              Thanks.
