I need help with hyperlinking

Hello My name is Donald, and I would like to know what is the meaning and the function of the Target on hyperlink properties. What does the Blank, Self, Parent, and Top mean, and what are there functions and purpose. Thank you in advance for your help.

Unless you're using iframes, the only two you need worry about are _self and _blank. _self means the new page will open in the current window, while _blank opens a new window.
