  • Sub domain pictures not showing

    Hi

This would be my dilemma #1 for the day. I've been trying to do everything humanly possiblle to get the pictures to work on my new subdomain. Everything is published in the corrct folder etc., I've made sure all pictures are linked to the right page and previewed everythign...and it shows in the preview...but it's still not working after publishing and checking. I know that member spc was having similar problem so I was wondering if this was just a 'wait for a couple of days' and it will work sort of a problem. Any clues as to what's up from anyone...would be great. Subdomain is http://www.beezkidzworld.beezworld.com

    Thanks
    Beezz

    Hi Bee,
When I've experienced similar problems to this it has been when I have accidentally moved images in between publishing. If you've checked that then I'm a little stumped. I don't know why this could be happening. I thought it may have been cache but I can't see your images either.

Re: Sub domain pictures not showing

      Hey Amanda,

As usual I've managed to start my day with an electronic adventure. I'm having the problem only with my sub-domain. I've added things on my main site and no problems. Should I have all the pics associated with my sub-domain in the main public_html area instead of in the sub file (they automatically go there when I publish)....I've double checked all the links and republished all the files to the sub folder but still nothing....

clueless as usual am I ...so I hope someone out there has got the answer...:)

Has it been 72hours since you've created the subdomian?

If it has then you can try going to cpanel in the File Manager delete all the pics from the subdomian folder and republish the page

Is your file structure as below?

          /public_html/
          /public_html/Beezkidzworld/
          /public_html/Beezkidzworld/Images/

Please note that the server is "case sensitive"

              Hi Sadain,

It's been over 72 hours and I tried what you said and eliminated All pics in sub folder and republished but still same problem. I know it's going to be something foolish that I'v3 done and boy am I going to feel sheepish when that happens...thanks for trying...if you got any other ideas...I sure would love to hear them.

Re: Sub domain pictures not showing

Go to your File Manager in the Cpanel and then click on public_html folder then your subdomian folder then click on one of the pics in that folder and on the right hand side of the window you should see a set of tools for the pic click on show file nd see if its allright there...

If not delete all the pics in that file and trash them then republish your subdomian index

The following image bv01102_over.gif has the following Address (url) value

Using the cpanel file manager see where this image file is located and post the result

Soem of the same pics are used on my main site...could this be causing any confusion
