Also I am having trouble working out at what time in the day the AW stats are updated. They are updated every 24 hours but what time does the update take place?

probably midnight, and the server is on central time

Your in the UK aren't you Allstar? Awstat's are 6 hours behind us. They update every 24 hours plus something, so gradually the update info dates gets out of step with us.
Used to bother me until I realised what was going on, and now I mentally adjust.
