    Indexpage won't open in MSIE

    Hi,
    I've made two websites lately using Firefox as my browser.
    My first site (www.pianoles.net) don't show the index page on MSIE. However, when I analyse the statcounters visitors activity the page sometimes opens and sometimes don't.
    Friends are telling me that they cannot open the indexpage.
    On my Stats I see then 0 seconds activity.
    But according to the same Stats, some visitors using MSIE are visiting the site for some time (for example: 43 seconds).
    My second site (www.yourdailycare.net) don't have any problems with MSIE so far.
    Is this problem recognized?
    Thanks, Vodaschat

    The only error I see is you have to add a title to the page for this site. Also dont forget to change your cmds when uploading to each site, i.e. >pub/yourdailycare< > pub/pianoles<

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">

    <HEAD>

    <TITLE>Untitled Page</TITLE>
    <META name="AUTHOR" content="your daily care">

    This one is fine

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">

      Re: Indexpage won't open in MSIE

      Thanks Stroke.nz, for answering my question.
      There is a title of the opening page. Both sites have the homepage as 'index' , as you can see in FireFox (or probably in MSIE).
      So far the problem still occurs.
      Is there another 'flaw in my system'?

        You're right - your site is fully viewable in FF, but it shows a blank page in IE based browsers (at least on my end). Keep this thread active and someone will be along soon with a solution.

          Your problem is here:

          <TITLE>alle pianolessen van tineke van diggelen in nieuw vennep</TITLE>

          You have missed the "/"

          But how is it that you have two title metas? have you added it in the between head tag?

            Navaldesign,

            You're very smart. Indeed, it's the double title in my headtag.
            Thanks very much, the site is now viewing on MSIE all over the world.
            If we had'nt this Forum, where would we rookies be?
