I downloaded the new BV and, I went into shape and my fill effects for gradient stopped working?? Please advice me what I can do?? Thank you.

You have to know, your program is GREAT. Even I can learn, and, that is saying a lot. Thank you so much for your quick response. I have never done anything with a computer before, so, this is my very first time.
