    Formatting and adding a printer friendly button

    I have noticed on other sites that they have a printer friendly button which obviously will print that page the correct size on printer etc etc.

    Does BV support this? If not, where can i find out how to do it? Does anyone know?

        This might not be the best way, but if you cut & paste all the text from the page you want to print & paste it onto a blank page & keep all the text over to the left of that page. (do not center) Then add this script below into an html box where you would like to see print this page .

        <A HREF="javascript:window.print()">Click to Print This Page</A>

        You could then place a link on the page that you want to print (Please go to printer friendly page) At least they will get a page with no other bits on that is not needed. There might be a way to just print that second page without going to it, but i cant find a script for it.

        Good luck

        Chris.
        Ps. Some of these scipts dont work on some browsers, but will on most.

          There is no such thing as a printer friendly button, all it is, is a hyperlink
          to a new page that has little or no graphics on it and the text is arial or
          verdana 2 on white background and aligned properly.

          The button does not make the page "printer friendly". You Do.

            Thanks for that. This is what i thought, but thought it was just a way round it for me. But happy if this is actually the way it supposed to be.
