How do I link pages off-line (locally) so I can preview how my site will work?

Hi my name is Paul Rudd and I am new to VodaHost. I am trying to preview my site off-line, locally on my PC before I publish to VodaHost. I know how to link published pages but I am unable to link locally eg. C:\Mysite\index etc.

Is this possible or do I have to publish each page first and preview live?

No. You have to publish before links will be operational.
