    Web Building problems including postings

    Website: www.officialpnlsbna.org
    IP address: 74.52.42.242
    e-mail address: cbelton1@alltel.net
    Phone: 954-556-6132

    Questions:
    1. All my web pages open in BV and I can see them in the preview pane. The Menu buttons don't open the other pages.
    2. should everything work in preview panel?
Under Tools, (Verify Links) I get URL not found?
4.Under in Image Properties, what is BLANK,SELF, PARENT. TOP and what do I use for what?
What is the book mark used for?
    6. My Main Menu words in Preview pane but goes to a page not found message.
    7. None of my URL listings have capitals yet in Control panel the first letter of each file is capitalized.
8.When I put in my site URL on the internet the home page looked great just like in the Preview Pane. but the buttons did not work there either.
9.While doing web posting do I need to deactivate Norton Internet Security?
    10. I had my control panel reset to start over. I need to get these problems fixed before I try to post to the web again. Customer Support refered me to Voda talk to get my questions answered.
    Thanks,
    Charles

I did not realize that I had to post each page seperately. I don't know why Official Notices page did not post.
        Thanks,

Re: Web Building problems including postings

I did not realize I had to posts each page separately. Now that I have done
that. My "Official Notices" page did not post. I went back in BV builder and
changed the address for all the mail menu items to
            http://www.officialpnlsbna.org/officialnotices/notice1.html , notice
2.html etc and resaved them.but the page nor the links to the menu buttons
            come up?
Also do I need to put the main menu from my index/home page on each page to
get back to the menu or how do I set up each page to use the back button to
go back to the home page?

This is the last thing I have to do.

            Thank you so very much.

              Swamp Cougar,
Having a navegation bar or menu is up to you, however users need some way of visiting other pages in your site so it helps to be consistent on each page. Use words at the top of your pages to allow viewers to jump around or a copy your nav bar to each page.
I might suggest you make the nav bar longer to allow for your longer text menu.
The 'Official Notices' links to rules, etc seems to work ok.
The BV tutorials have a lot of the answers you are looking for.
