  • How to name sub-pages ? Already read tutorials!

    Hi all,

How do I go about naming sub-pages? For example, my site's homepage is
    www.mysite.com
So I save this page as "index" right?

    If it's www.mysite.com/abc.html , I'll save it as " abc " right??

But what about www.mysite.com/abc/def.html , www.mysite.com/abc/def/ghi.html , and so on and so forth?

How should I save these pages as? Cos I tried saving page as "abc/def", but returned an error INVALID FILENAME.

    Thanks for all your help.

save as usual as def and then publish to public_html/abc and to make more easy save it in different folder because you will have more than 1 index page

I've already saved the first 2 pages as "index" and "abc", and published them successfully.
However, when I save my third page as "def" and then try to publish to public_html/abc, I get an error message:

" 550 Can't change directory to public_html/abc:No such file or directory.

did you create folder abc in your public_html?
if not create one through ftp or file manager in control panel
