silly question. how do i group an image and text together?

my webpage is www.thetafsquad.com/cs_home.html i want to group together an image and text for a navigation bar on the left side.

1) how do i group together and image with text?

i was going to do it with photoshop but it looks weird and i want the text to look exactly like the text i used wth BV.
