  • Creating an account for someone else

    Hi,

In reference to your TOS below:

    You are not permitted to...

    a) Resell web hosting space. (This is not a reseller account)
    b) Create accounts for third parties. All domain names that are in your control
panel must be under your direct control and administration.
    c) Have multiple control panels (CPanel's) or (WHM) Web Hosting Manager on
    a standard account.

I need to check one thing here to make sure I fully understand.

Someone comes to me and says "I would like you to make me a website, host it and maintain it"

Can I open a new account( but on their behalf), in MY name, and host their website within this new account? Am I doing anything against your TOS here?

Re: Creating an account for someone else

Opening a new account and administer it on behalf of a customer is fine,
we have many people doing this, what the above term does not permit is
hosting a third parties website on your own account. each party is required
    to have a seperate account.

That's brilliant, thank you, that's all I need to know.
