    a little help please

    hi
many thanks in advance to the kind person/persons who will advise me how to configure the size of a template that i wish to use so that the template fills the entire web browser page and the outer borders of the template are not visible in the browser.
    cheers

You can't resize dynamically the templates in BV. What you can do, is center your pages, then use a background color or image that will filll the rest of the space around your page.

Right click on an empty space on your screen & select properties & set the screen to 800x600 & tick the box centre in browser. When you finished & before you publish your page, have a quick check to see that the size hasn’t changed, as it has a habit of changing sizes when you move things around the screen whilst making your page.

To center EXCACTLY your template, create a rectangle . Move it far to the left. Now, click on it and drag it's right side to enlarge it. While enlarging, BV shows you at the right bottom corner, the dimensions of the rectangle. Drag it until you see it's 800 pixel wide.
Now, insert your template image, and center it horizzontaly relatively to the rectangle that you have created before. To do this click on the template, then hold down the Shift key, select also the rectangle, and then click on the center Horizzontaly button (in the alignment and size toolbar). Unselect everything by clicking somewhere on the blank space of the page. Delete the rectangle. Select the template and move it up or down to the desired position, using the arrows. When in position, right click on the template and select "Lock" from the right click menu. Go in Page Properties and click "Center in Browser".

Create also your menubar, insert your header, add background color if you wish, add keywords, and save the page as Template. When starting a new page, select New Page > from Template and select the template that you have created. Add, for each page, the specific content that you want, correct page description, name and keywords, and save with that particular page name i.e. "products", "who_we_are" etc.

Please make sure to keep inside the page width during the page creation, and ALWAYS re-check the page width in Page properties before saving, to make sure it is set to 800. You see, if even for a moment you place anything outside the 800 px limit, BV will automatically resize the width to the new, increaded width, even if you then delete or move the object withinn the 800 limit. So always re-check the width before saving, or it may result in missed centering.
