how do people other than admin access email?

I have an email address through my website but it is forwarded or whatever to my microsoft account. thats fine
but how would others that may get a email account through my website access their email.
if you go to http://mail.thegreateight.net it says page has not been cinfigured
what am i doing wrong???
I have contacted the help desk but can't seem to get an answer

Did you test the email account you set up ?
Set up a second e-mail without forwarding and test that.

where do i go to check it?
in my cpanel it says my outgoing mail server needs authentification
