yeah, my homepage is super slow ... vodahost seems to think it's b/c of the live lines and matchup reports page ... but, why would that make my homepage slow? help

Sorry Mike, you got to the code before I could change it. Some how parts got pasted in twice. Recheck the last post & re-paste.
As for the page loading slow, you could bring your image sizes down a bit. They are a little heavy, but it loaded for ok for me. If this works ok you may have to check you have the right link to your image.

as you can tell ... i'm a novice at this ... when you say heavy ... what do you mean? is there a way to keep them the same size but have them be as 'heavy'? thanks again man

I am not sure why, but it seems to be http://www.handicappinggames.com/bv01305.gif that the page holds up on. Yet the image size is ok. This is the blue background & could be made physically smaller.
But as for other images, if you are making images smaller it’s the bytes/kb size that should be as small as pos without loosing too much quality.
