The only "requirement for BV naming" is the Main Page be index and the common rest applies (use underscore instead of spaces, no symbols, lower case, etc.)
And like in everything else, the freaking details are a must....(it's what I get hung up myself)!
gotcha.. yes the thing abou tthe main page being caled index is a common thing. Just an internet thing not specific to BV.

            thanks for the tips :)

Thanks for all the help guys,I am waiting patiently for the rest of my site to upload to the Internet,it has been 13 hours since 'Vodahost' posted his last reply, and hopefully I will have no more than 10-11 hours to wait for the other pages to upload.
                  Thanks again,
                  Gary.

Your pages are uploaded already Shabu (if you have published them of course). It is just a case of waiting for the servers to refresh. Hopefully the problem will then be solved YAAAAAY

                    ;)

Thanks fprob, yes,I know, that waiting game.....12-24 hours seems like a long time.
Is this normal for the servers to refresh.
                      Thanks,

Yep. Its a normal thing. It doesnt matter how big or small your site is and it doesn't matter which host you use. Its normal.

And yep you are right LOL, Personally... I learned patience through web design hahaha. A nice side effect it has to be said :)

                          Yep,they always say,patience is a virtue,seldom in a woman,but,never in a man......and so true that is,I have no patience,lol.
But as you said, patience is something you have to learn in this business,by the way, what did you think of the site.
And how many sites would I be allowed to upload,I guess the answer would be obvious,'It depends on how much money I am prepared to spend'.
                          Cheers,
                          Gary.(a.k.a.Shabu)

Do I/will I have to re-publish my pages to see if the server is picking them up at all,or just wait.
There is only 5 hours left before the 24 hours are up.
How many times is too many for publishing the pages.
                            Gary.

To be honest, 24 hours is the specified time but it is not a strict timescale. I would maybe be expecting it to be working now although please don;t take that as gospel.

You can upload as many sites as you like as long as you buy the www.domainnames :)

I think a staff member needs to have another look at your page uploading problem Gary but I am sure the VH will see this thread again before long.

                              Please dont worry yet mate.

I have come to believe you know you have spent too much time tweaking and publishing when you notice you can't see the keyboard anymore, you beard finally growing over the whole thing......

You can re-publish pages until the cows come home, if you want - there is no limit!
