could you tell me the best way of adding downloadable pdf files. I have many brochures of manufacturers of products which I will be selling and would like my customers to be able to download directly from my site.
what file do i need to upload the pdf files to?

yes spot on!

so just to make sure i've got it.

1) i can create a page
2) up load files to public_ftp
3) create links to www........./public_ftp/filename.html
