    Links

    Hi everyone

This is my first try at posting a massage on any forum, ever. I have just started the tutorials and is halfway through my first ever webpage. It's like stuttering through. I do have a question. I want to direct customers to a choice of six different affiliate sites and have entered all the links but they don't seem to be active like in Word when you type the link it immidiate display in blue and is active.
I hope I am doing this right and will see if anybody respond. Have a good day all.

    Re: Links

    Correct.

When using Blue Voda, you must manually enter your hyperlinks, which is simple to do using the Hyperlink tool at the top of the BV browser toolbar.
You can see this explained fully here : http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/hyp...mages-etc.html
(The complete "Linking" series of Video Tutorials can be found Here)

Great to see you've discovered Blue Voda, and how easy it is to use!

Hi old Man. Links will not be active until you 'preview' or 'publish'.
I generally check my links by selecting the preview button at the top
      of the page.

True, but if properly set, they will show as "active links" (blue, underlined) on the BV page in BV (unless Hyperlink Styles have been modified, which will then appear according to whichever Style has been set).

          Hi Old man,
Can you be a little more specific on the type of link? You say affiliates!
As in looks a bit like this one bellow?
          href="http://www.vodahost.com/partner/idev...id=XXXXXXXXXXX">
          <img src="http://www.vodahost.com/partner/banners/bbb21.gif" border="0"></a>

If it is? Put it into a html box. If not, maybe try posting the link for us to have a look. Or post a link to web site your page so we can look at the html. (if on line)

          Chris
