Getting A Pop Up Window

I want to put a pop up window that will come up over the top of my site, right in front of my site. It could pop up or side in from top or side.

This window would ask a question, then it would go away after the question was asked and let the person view my site. I'd like it to be a small window. 6" x 8" or so.

It would ask them "where did you see my site advertised"

I know one way to do so,

you create an image with that question in a software where you edit your images, and call it whatever you like (f.e) question_image.jpg.

in your BV page, open an image gallery > insert question_image.jpg > Target : open in a pop up window.

I know sites that use those. But expect people like me to click off the site immediately and never return. So, it really depends on how much you feel that will help vs how much it might hurt.

What you are discussing is a simple form that opens in a pop up window. You can create the form as large as you like and use a combo box to have them choose/select how they heard about your site. The form would be set up to send the answer to that question to either your e-mail, a flat file or a database.
