XML Data feeds

Hi all,

On some of the affiliate programs I am signed with they are now providing product data feeds in XML format. Now I understand that these need to be converted into a database format but does anyone know of any basic tutorials and cheap (or possibly free) tools to convert xml. Is it very complicated?
