Starting from scratch!
I downloaded Joomla and want to start all over again with the installation. Do I simply delete the current MySQL database and re-install it from the zip?

You can install Joomla directly from Fantastico so there is no need that you manually create database. If you had Joomla installed from Fantastico, then you should uninstall it again through Fantastico, this will also delete the database, if instead, you had it manually installed, delete everything as well as the database you created for it.Navaldesign
