    Could Bluevoda run this ????????

Im currently looking to start up a adult shop in the uk, clothing etc....

I currently use a dropshipper in the U.K, which im happy with.....however!
After doing ok on ebay i would like to start an online shop"

    The dropshippers provide software (free shop setup) avaiable here to download;
    http://dropship.sexshop365.co.uk/des...ex.php?cPath=6
Now im learning as I go along and maybe asking to much of BV, but what I can gather is would I have to upload the CATALOG directory to server using FTP. I understand that I would have to create a database using phpMyAdmin (does bluevoda provide this on control panel?)

Please could someone let me know if this free shop software is compatable with bluevoda?

As I say im still learning.....My dropshippers can provide a, out of the box shop, fully loaded with products and pics at a Cost of £175.00 + V.A.T
And they will Install it too for an extra £50.00 + V.A.T...then hosting and domain etc, im looking around £300.00 For a complete set-up! Im looking to save a few pennies !!!

Thanks all I have faith in you

Well im not clicking but vodahost probably COULD run that software long as it wasnt an asp application. Where you might get in hot water is with the adult TOYS side of it. Check with voda host on its TERMS OF SERVICE to see if they will allow hosting of it.

Re: Could Bluevoda run this ????????

thanks for your reply........I understand the hesitation in clicking the link, but I can assure you that the page you land on has no offending images!

It simply has the description of the product (Free Shop Software) and requirments, I just thought you guys could make more sense out of it!

In an Ideal world I would like to be able to Preview the Free shop software using BV Webbuilder, in preview mode/browser!
But gather I can not do this until the I properly publish/install the shop directories to the web via FTP.

If I can Preview this software/shop before I purchase a VH account that would be really cool but I dont no how to??!!

Any help or pointers will be appreciated, thanks again.

Hi, I would imagine its ok as BV supply what I assume to be the same software free with your package (Oscommerce) http://oscommerce.com/ I am assuming this it the same version.

What in the BV c panel.
Short description: A power-user shopping cart with a big variety of modules and support of almost every payment gateway. A big developers community is ready to offer custom solutions depending on your needs.
        Homepage: http://oscommerce.com/

        And also comes with this.

buySAFE Description: The buySAFE module is included with this version of osCommerce. buySAFE is free for online merchants to use. buySAFE will provide you with an explicit third-party endorsement of merchant reliability and trustworthiness, backed by a bond guarantee. buySAFE has been proven to increase buyer confidence by providing Certified Merchants with the buySAFE Seal for display on their website and by enabling shoppers to guarantee their purchase with a bond. Install the latest version of osCommerce to gain access to the free buySAFE module.

Notice: 2.2 MS2 (060817) with buySAFE includes the buySAFE module as described here.
