What's the correct username for MySQL databases when using VIP IWC?

    Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone is using a CMS software called "VIP Interactive Website Creator". I've trouble installing this script, partly because i'm confused by some attributes in MySQL.

Firstly, what's the correct username? Does my username have to include the account holder's name followed by the underscore and then my username? Does it also apply to the name of the database as well?

Secondly, is there anyone who has successfully installed this "VIP Interactive Website Creator" CMS script onto their vodahost account. If so, could I get in contact with you? I'm having some trouble.

    Thanks a lot....

You need to go into cpanel the database, it involves 3 steps.

    1) Create the database
    2) Create the username /w password
    3) Link the database with the user and set permissions

The username you need will be created in step 2... it will be:
    (your cpanel username)_(username you chose)

So for instance say your cpanel username and password is:
    U: qwerty
    P: whatever

You create a database called "vip", a username called "vip"... your database username will be

    "qwerty_vip"

    Register/Login Script
Do you use a Password Protected Directory? Need a way to allow users to make their own account, try my .htaccess Login Script
