Cannot Connect to DB Via Desktop MySQL Browser

Cannot Connect to DB Via Desktop MySQL Browser ... I have been using my "desk top" MySQL Browser 1.1.13 no problem ... last successful time last weekend. I've changed nothing that I am aware of since then and now I get a mysql 2003 "can't connect 10060" type error. The address pings fine to 70.86.30.66. I am using port 3306. My programs that connect to the DB work fine on the website and PHPAdmin facility works fine. Why did my MySql browser stop working all of a sudden (noticed 1st last night). Any suggestions?? Thanks much.

I am a CUSTOMER..... specifically edicola12.com......

I have databases with tables under like nido.edicola12.com

Again MySql browser on my computerS worked fine this week ... now no computer can connect via MySql browser ... HOWEVER my php code on the site (e.g. for forms processing, and log ins by site users like in nido.us.com) work fine and your php admin facilities work fine. Also I can ping the ip fine.
