how do I change my url?

I have my site as zibubu.com and I am trying to have it published in different locations. Like the one that's active, zibubu.com/las vegas. as you can see, I put a space between las and vegas. this is a major problem when I send (my site sends) a reply. it shows as zibubu.com/las
is there a way to change it to lasvegas instead, without changing the content of existing site? Please advise and I am a bit slow, if you can tell me how it's done step by step. Thank you so much BV

If you mean, publish to different folders/directories in your webbspace, then publish to:
    public_html/lasvegas
where lasvegas is the name of a folder.....................

Well, I thought there would be a way without going through everything all over again. This is a classified site and I cant just have a new folder and start from scratch. I already have Postings on my site!!

You cannot change the actual URL/domain name, you can only direct people/link to diferent folders....................areas of your existing domain name.

You could create different sub domains containg different site info though......same concept, different approach.

I am not trying to change my domain, I need to know if I can go to ftp and change the folder name to lasvegas and keep everything the same. I just don't want to do it and mess up the whole thing. Isn't there a way to change it through ftp/db? as I said, it has to change from zibubu.com/las vegas to zibubu.com/lasvegas.

You can go into your control panel, file manager after all the files load find the folder and rename it (click the rename icon). But you will have to change any and all links to it.

Re: how do I change my url?

I did go to cp and had the main page redirected to "lasvegas", but i have probably over 400 pages and increasing on daily basis. this is a classified site and I am having a great response.
What I have done is actually copied "las vegas" into a new directory"lasvegas". now if I were to go to ftp and install it all over again, will I be able to keep my current posting in the new install?
              or, What is your suggestion?
My site is zibubu.com and I am trying to have every location separate, such as zibubu.com/las vegas (or lasvegas) and zibubu.com/losangeles and so on...
what is the best way of doing it?
