I am using Dreamweaver as also the extension DataAssist of We*****st. I have done the setup for the remote server and the test server in the Dreaweaver and the test is correct. The DataAssist Wizard asks for the mySQL Server, the Username, the Password and the DataBase.
I have created the database, the username and the password through the cPanel/mySql and using the php Administrator I have created a table with one record.
I have read the instructions in other posts and I followed the procedure as follows
host (mySQL server?) = localhost
databasename = loginusername_databasename
username = loginusername_databaseusername
password = password I set up while making the database.
For a while it seems that a connection is established with the server and that exist some file activity but finally I get the following error.
HTTP error code 404 File Not Found. Here are some possible reasons for the problem.
1) There is no testing server running on the server machine
2) The testing server specified for this site does not map to the http://208.43.222.136/public_html/_m...s/MMHTTPDB.php URL. Verify that the URL prefix maps to the root of the site.
The public_html/_mmServerScripts/MMHTTPDB.php exists
Is there any suggestion?
Many thanks
