php banner change

Please bear with me as i am a total newbie to this.

I would like to change my banner from the standard php banner to reflect the continuity of my site - any help on how to do this?

Banner on what lol, as you have not given an idea as to what program then it's going to be hard. at a guess i think it might be the phpbb forum software but you will need to confirm this.

yes that is right - the php forum software - i downloaded the phpBB via fantastico but now i have no access to get into the site as the admin. how do i get in?

i have been on the php support forum and they have told me how to chnage the banner - but i need to get in - how do i get in??
