Wow! I really like what flash can do, but it sure seems complicated. Wish I had more time to learn that. Maybe some day.....adding to my to do list! I like the morph stick man too! Thanks David for what is possible!

Those illustrations were pretty cool. Is flash very hard to learn? It did not look as though it would be.

The basics are quite easy to pick up, i managed in about 30 mins just playing around. It's when you get to action scripts and such. The best way is to play around with it and learn as you go along.

                Mook,

Thanks so much for the information. I think I will play around with it for a while and see what I can develop.

No worries. There's a load of free trials out there. So have a play on them first before investing in the real thing. That way, if you can't get the hang of it and can't be bothered, you haven't wasted a load of money.

I highly recommend it though as you can bring life to any website through flash. even if it's only a banner or a title image.

Re: Flash Video tutorials - feel free to view

I looked again and I have Flash MX 2004 on my computer and some other Macromedia extensions. I suppose that would develop something I could use. My daughter has used these some--I gues I will pick her brain a little.

ZC290549--Thanks for the link. The tutorials are very interesting also. They appear to get down to the way the coding goes and how it all works.

Re: Flash Video tutorials - feel free to view

I need help with the #6 tutorial on here - "Text Morphing".

I was trying to do the morphing and following it right along with the video but there seems to be a mysterious "click" that happens at the 0:47 mark - After they insert keyframe, then takes the anchors to select the "Good" text and then you hear a 'CLICK' and the text saying "Good" goes away.

I've been playing with this for a little while now and I haven't been able to figure out how they are making the word disappear.

Anyone know what I need to click??

I tried 'Enter' and 'Space Bar'... doesn't seem that those are the correct keys.
