Oscommerce catalog folder

Hi Guys, I have just install a oscommerce template (actually full scrip to get the front I wanted) and it as default ceates the string as follows:
www.oztecdirect.com/catalog.

is there any way I can remove the catalog foder and point it straight to the root directory www.oztechdirect.com

I have noticed on redirects that they faulty slightly causing a clumsey logon to the site( or at least it did on the only one I ever tried).

Any surgestions will be accepted with great glee!!
