I think I have this password-protect thing figured out: I go to the page on my site that links to the protected page and the username/password box comes up, I log in, and get right to the page I need.
The weird thing is that if I close the protected page, then click the link back to the protected page, I DON'T have to re-enter the user/pass, and I get directly back into the protected page.
I guess this shouldn't be a big deal, since the person that is on the page is permitted to be there in the first place, and the info there isn't national security, but I thought this was weird.
In Mozilla, I can close the site AND the browser, then reopen it and still get right into the protected page w/o the user/pass all day long. In Explorer, if I close the browser, it will prompt me for the user/pass again, then let me in and out of the protected page all day long.
It's late, am I making sense?
