Problem with internet explorer blocking Audio.

hi all

This is my first post, i would like to say hello to everyone and look forward to sharing knowledge and tips with you all in the future.

Right here we go, by the way i'm a complete nube so any help would be appreiciated.

I am building my first page, I have added some audio to the page with the windows media plug in, but whenever I try to preview the page internet explorer blocks the content, I have to click on the blocker bar to allow the music to play.... this is really annoying as I don't have the same problem when testing on Netscape browser.

Maybe your pop up blocker (tools, popup) on IE is set to 'high'
Another way to add sound, it to use the background under
page properties, background, sound . It can be added to the
background page property. I originallydid mine that way,
but later used the player so folks could turn it off.

no the problem is is only in preview mode, when you publish the page you will
not have this issue.

Thanks for your help. I have taken both comments and hey presto everything is ok....Great!
